Cleaning Tip

Here is a cleaning tip that will amaze you.  When you use a cleaning product, for the floor, i.e. Spic-N-Span, Mr. Clean, etc, just use 2 TBS of the product in one quarter of a bucket of water. Using too much cleaning solution can cause your floor to get tacky or sticky.  Water is a cleaning agent.  And don’t use a whole bucket because if it should spill, you’ll just spill a lot of water.

As for the cleaning implement, don’t use a sponse mop.  It is always dirty so how can you get your floor clean.  Also, don’t use Swiffer Jet or Swiffer Wet Pads or anything that requires you to keep purchasing the cleaning cloths or even use batteries.  Instead get the flat mop, Rubbermaid Reveal.  You can use your own cleaning solution in the bottle provided and the microfiber can be thrown in the wash load.  Very eco-friendly.

Weekend Activities

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  The weather was beautiful!  But Fiorelli’s Grand Sweep was busy.

Besides the usual cleaning jobs, i.e. Beach Club Bistro and Beach Club Grill, a small accounting firm, and Carroll Glass,  we had to start dismantling chairs and tables and the usual clean-up for two clients for three events.  Ss. Robert and William Church had a Christmas Boutique a AND a Weekend Women’s Renewal while the Irish American Club had a Arts and Crafts Fair.

Stay tuned for the next post where I will divulge a cleaning tip.

Fiorelli’s Grand Sweep

Both mornings last weekend was spent cleaning at The Beach Club Bistro in Euclid and The Beach Club Grill in Concord.  Their pizzas are out of this world! Mangia mania!

We also spent Saturday night at the Irish American Club East Side cleaning up after a wedding.  It was messy since there were a lot of children in attendance.  They must have had a lot of fun!

Fiorelli’s Grand Sweep

Hello, I never thought that yours truly would be writing a blog for our cleaning business. I have followed a few blogs of artists and my older son-in-law who is a minister (blogged for a couple years or more to practice his writing skills).

Gino recently completed a floor job at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Strongsville.  It took three days to complete: stripping & waxing the meeting room and top-scrubbing the Rectory. The total area encompassed 3,700 sq. feet.

See you next time!
